In order to apply for dual citizenship, you will often be advised by the relevant embassy to have your documents notarised by an Australian Notary Public.
What you need to do :
Book an appointment with us, and bring along your original 'Certificate of Australian Citizenship' (and if relevant) also your 'Change of Name Certificate' from the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (only necessary if you have changed or shortened your name.)
Once I have checked the authenticity of these documents and also verified your identity, I will prepare my 'Notarial Act' for you, which will include a certification of the multiple copy documents you have produced. You will then take this (if required) to the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade for an Apostille or Authentication.
The process of preparing your Notarial Act takes around 30 mins.
